Non sono sicuro che questo sia risaputo, ma la Turchia ha una storia di musei esigenti e molesti "ritorno" tutti i manufatti prodotti in Turchia o in alcuni casi in qualsiasi parte dell’Impero Ottomano. Ciò include qualsiasi eredità armena (anche assira e greca). Infatti, nel 2015, la Turchia ha chiesto un museo in Russia "ritorno" i manufatti armeni che avevano in mostra (che includevano abiti).
Ciò significherebbe che qualsiasi patrimonio armeno occidentale in qualsiasi parte del mondo, inclusa l’Armenia, è considerato dalla Turchia come loro legittima proprietà.
Ho avuto una discussione con un utente turco qui che mi ha detto che qualsiasi cosa prodotta in Turchia dovrebbe appartenere alla Turchia e che sarebbe un furto se le nostre famiglie riuscissero a portare fuori dalla Turchia qualcosa dei nostri averi. Ciò significherebbe che gli indumenti che i miei familiari indossavano durante la marcia della morte possono essere rivendicati dalla Turchia.

Vorrei sapere se questo è risaputo in Armenia? Credi che il nostro patrimonio in Armenia sia a rischio con queste politiche?

I mean those are some old posts but it’s still true. But I don’t know how this would be handled irl with Armenia.
Most of the Greek artifacts in the british museum were sold to the british by the Turks without the consent of the Greek populace and now they are crying that they want them “back”?
Some fates are worse than destruction. This might be a hot take, but if there is no chance for these artifacts to be returned to Greece and Armenia i would rather see them be destroyed than be used against us by our enemies to skinwalk us.
Hopefully this doesn’t get eliminated.
It is important for the Republic of Armenia to know and be aware of these things.
