La propaganda tedesca della seconda guerra mondiale mostra l’Europa con varie bandiere, unite contro l’Unione Sovietica. Ma non esiste la bandiera polacca?

Is this a question or what? According to NSDAP there should be no Poland after the war. 5 minutes of Wikipedia research would give you an answer.

  2. Isn’t it the German flag, but the flag of the Third Reich? For the Germans at that time, we weren’t people, let alone a state. aw

What kind of idiotic question is that?
You only have flags of countries allied with the Third Reich, such as Hungary, Romania, and Spain.

War between 3rd Reich and Soviet Union started in 1941 when Poland was fully occupied by both Germany and USSR. For Germans Poland was nonexisting.

Germans didn’t have much luck in creating collaborationist units in occupied Poland and the Generalgouvernement was an occupation entity, not a supposedly ‘allied’ Polish state. The Poles were busy fighting the Germans instead of joining them to fight the USSR.

There is no Greek or Yugoslavian flag either. What links Poland, Yugoslavia and Greece? These are some of the only occupied nations that actually resisted occupation, instead of passively awaiting liberation.

I do find it strange that there are no Bulgarian or Slovakian flags though

Poster represents countries wich sent forces to the eastern front, sent volunteers (Spain) or had SS divisions formed or other formations from the people in their countries. They wouldn’t put up flags of countries that didn’t collaborate with them. Of course as it’s propaganda poster, we shouldn’t assume that everyone had equal share in it and were happy to do it.
