    I lavoratori indiani guadagnano la retribuzione media più alta in Germania


    Secondo uno studio pubblicato venerdì, i lavoratori tedeschi guadagnano un reddito lordo medio di 4.177 euro (4.900 dollari): oltre 1.200 euro in meno rispetto ai dipendenti indiani. Stiamo assistendo al ripetersi della creazione di una comunità di immigrati indiani con guadagni molto alti simile a quanto accaduto negli Stati Uniti negli ultimi 30 anni.

    Modifica: per rispondere ai commenti riguardanti i salari medi ovviamente più alti per tutti i gruppi di immigrati, sono d’accordo che un confronto migliore sia con altre comunità di immigrati che mostra che è tutto nella gamma 5K+. "La sua indagine ha mostrato che il salario mensile lordo medio per i lavoratori indiani ha raggiunto i 5.393 euro nel 2024, davanti a quello degli austriaci a 5.322 euro, dei cittadini statunitensi a 5.307 euro e dei cittadini irlandesi a 5.233 euro."

      Not very surprising looking at the immigration restrictions and targeting of highly educated industries when recruiting people from India.

      I mean, is that really surprising? Like this compares apples and oranges imo. The “German median” includes all the minimum wage jobs that most Indians aren’t even allowed to work because they never would get a visa for it. So … yeah … not really surprising Indians have a better median.

      Based on the Indians I know, that is even a low number. I know 3-4 Indians who earn over 100k eur netto and the average netto being around 70k

      Oh no but how will I now create a stereotype online that they accept low paying jobs and are totally messing up the job market and pay.

      Sounds like good news. Many qualified Indians coming to Germany is something to be grateful for.
