Noterai che mancano attrezzature di sicurezza come giacche ad alta visibilità e protezioni per la testa e il corpo.

The lack of protection is actually not so uncommon in Swiss construction sites. Source: I worked as security on many, and constantly had to force workers to wear vests and helmets.
not only killer, also so ugly
As it appears, this foam ceiling was installed already back in 2015….
Can someone secure this? I have little faith in the authorities and the owners already purged a lot
I think the only issue was that cheap foam which, the construction foes not look unusual and the stairs seem to be wide enough for emergency exits.
The problem was the fire (cheap sound insulation) and propably more guests than allowed capacity.
That fucking foam man… whoever decided that it was a good idea must be feeling like shit now.
On the scaffolding here is a company logo which you also can find in other pictures. This might be the company who installed those: https://www.facebook.com/OldConstellation/photos/pb.100069430671681.-2207520000/1059853914089529/
Foam is installed before the opening of the bar. Which means cantonal authorities have ALLOWED the use of FLAMMABLE, NON-COMPLIANT material in the final form of the establishment.
Find everyone responsible and sue them. Not just the owners but also these irresponsible, corrupted imbeciles who have killed tens of people for a teeny tiny bribe that I’m sure was worth for their troubles now.
This is really fucking horrible, my wife’s family is from Sion and she might have been to that bar in her youth.
>You will notice that there is a lack of safety equipment such as high vis jackets, head & body protection.
According to newspaper the owner did a lot of the renovation “himself”. Yes, we also rented a baggerli for our garden, we also built a Veloungerstand – we never wore a high-vis jacket nor helmets. I therefor wouldn’t too much read into that.
But seeing the room from different angles, I notice there is only one exit up the stairs. But at the press conference this afternoon Staatsrat Stéphane Ganzer stated:
>«Es gab genug Ausgänge, aber wir vermuten, dass nicht alle Personen diese gefunden haben.»
Does someone know, if there were really multiple **emergency** exits from this room?
Welcome to Valais…
But it’s not the first time they lit those candles?
Who thought lignting up fireworks indoors is a good idea anyway?
