Anyone knows 99% of the souvenirs being sold, especially the “traditional, hand crafted” ones, is Chinese trash manufactured en-masse and then heavily overpriced solely for being sold in “souvenir shop” at a tourist location instead of aliexpress.

These types of things get mass produced in china or India or wherever else, so it’s perfect for slopification. Old people will still buy them, but at least before they had to try A LITTLE BIT. Now they don’t have to.
