That’s a lot of bike sheds. So much money for so little or poor services back. Is anything run well in this country at state level other than Revenue Comissioners?

  2. But now don’t expect the government to use this to improve infrastructure, public transport, healthcare, housing or just about anything that would have a positive impact for people living here!

Total tax receipts $106 BILLION. How in the name of God do we have very solvable issues, housing, infrastructure, healthcare, energy capacity, with this sort of money coming in!?! HOW!!!

“It’s a rainy day fund” it’s fuckin raining for the majority of people in the country if they haven’t noticed!!

We will end up pissing this away in fines to the EU for not meeting climate targets which were very achievable targets and the Irish people will never see the benefits of this money while still having the above issues.

  5. Put another way total take is enough to spend €19,418 for every man, woman, and child in the country. You sure wouldn’t think it…

I always wonder how much can be done with huge looking sums like this.

Assuming theres a remote chance of value for money.
