    Very disappointing if the Mercosur deal is used to undermine our world class food standards. 

    The country is already flooded with imported chicken from places like Thailand and China, much of which goes into food service and manufacturing, without any ‘country of origin’ labeling. 

    Even see it creeping into low grade chicken in supermarkets, only saving grace there is that it’s usually indicated on the packet.

    I’d get the Brazilian corned beef in Lidl. Tasty out but always left me queasy

    Europe is supposedly GMO free but most of our pork is fed on GMO feed imported from Brazil.

    Yeah go to Dublin and open up Grindr and all you see is hormoned Brasilian beef, I say we bring more!
