This is the biggest issue with the UKs justice system, you defraud the government for a few thousand then you have to pay it back, can even jailed a few million or several million have to pay them back a small percentage back…

Why are foreign nationals even allowed to claim benefits? Imagine moving to Dubai and asking for benefits. They would rightly laugh in your face.

They should have funnelled the money through a shell company, then they could have stolen 3 times as much, declared the shell company bankrupt and avoid any jail time.
