I think that is just improperly assembled. Might be difficult to unlock and reassemble though

(about Tori I don’t know anything about)

With second hand market places it’s tail light policy, meaning the sellers responsibility ends once you drive off. You should’ve inspected like they said.

  3. There’s many things you can do. Are any of them worth it? Nope. Move on and buy a new one.

I can’t see a civil case being worthwhile if it is for less than about 10000 euro. How much did you pay for the chair? Was it more than 10000 euro?

You can file for fraud with police or threath seller with it because they clearly knew there where something wrong with the chair but depending on the price it might not be worth it to wait if police will do anything about it.

make a serious legl threat and specifically put a part of the law in it and ask if he is willing to do paperwork for this

The central cylinder is touching the ground? Shitty to not mention it, but in second hand sales the buyer also has some responsibility to check and approve the quality of the wares before buying. I suppose it wasn’t worth that much, so probably not worth it to do much else than give a bad review, try to fix it yourself, and move on

You picked it up and know where they live? It’s time for good old kusipelti.
