You have to remember that the media is very heavily influenced by the government in Cyprus.
Ok now we believe the story that in no way possible that one of the biggest developers in Cyprus is helping launder money or assist in under the table deals. Let not forget that Cy governments are honest and have proven record of not accepting money or bribes for personal gain. This is a disgrace!
The government is spending lots of money on the media via government advertising. Also, journalists and whistleblowers have in the past been openly threatened and taken to court.
