    >has said it will be completing a review in due course into the death of Oisín O’Reilly.

Is it a review or an investigation? They are not the same thing.

Any word from Minister for Children Norma Foley, following-on from her recent promises and commitments regarding Tusla, Kiran Durnin and Daniel Aruebose…?

The Journal reported the gardai had to break into a hotel room in October as the father was threatening to murder his son. The gardai filed a report recommending that the fathers access be withdrawn and Tulsa does….nothing???

And threats to the son couldn’t be investigated as his parents/guardians didn’t make a formal complaint??

Armed gardaí raided hotel room as father threatened to kill son, three months before their deaths https://jrnl.ie/6921931

Anyone out there who is smart with legal jargon, can you explain to me how it’s normal for charges to not be brought by the State against an adult who has threatened to murder their child, solely because the CHILD and/or said adult have not requested for the charges? Why is the responsibility put on the child to be advocating for themselves legally against an adult? I feel like I’m missing something here.
