Cosa dovrebbe fare un non credente con una croce quando non è più necessaria?

  1. Are we talking about particular scenerio regarding certain school and what happened there or your own cross you own? If it is second matter, then I suppose, since it is your cross and your property, you can do whatever you wish with it, within reason. That is, for example, you do not litter public space with it.

-bring it to a christian church and give it to an official

    Or

-give it to someone who practices

Put it in the chest with some silver, aspen stakes, bible and holy water.. Who knows, maybe it will prove useful someday.

If you have some religious trauma I recommend fire, really purging once it’s done

  6. It depends. Do you want to treat it with respect to the believers or do you just want to get rid of it?

In my region people bring that to cementery and put that under big cross and from time to time someone is collecting that and disposing

you have to turn it upside down, then it will be a symbol of Satanism and then you can throw it away with impunity

Take it to a nearest cementary and place on a random grave

Sharpen the long end and keep it handy in case of zombies or vampires.

  11. I asked the pope of atheism and he said you can do whatever you want

Since 99,9% of answers are pure trolls, here is proper answer (apply to ANY cult-related item):

    1. If you think it has any historical value – bring it to local church

    2. If 1 does not apply – you should burn it. Really. This is preferable.

    3. If 2 is not possible – either material does not burn or you dont have possibility to do it – burry it at least 50cm under ground in place where animals can not reach IT. You MAY brake it if it will be easier to burry then.

    4. If 3 is not possible then go back to 1 and say to priest that 2 and 3 is not possible.

If the cross is not consecrated (and there’s a rather small chance that it is), then just throw it away. If a believer gets offended by throwing away an unconsecrated cross, it means they’re an ignoramus who doesn’t even know their own religion.

I guess that the best way would be to give it to someone who is believing. Or ask your local parish if they would accept it. Some may accept, some may not. If they don’t – you can ask them for a solution. Perhaps they will know of a place that accepts things like that.
If not and if you live in a house – bury it underground, or perhaps burn it. If you don’t live in a house and all solutions fail – just hide it somewhere I guess.

Throwing it away is definitely discouraged

I’d go down to a local church and explain that you’re no longer a Christian and see if they want it, including any bibles or whatever.
