    Non tutti i cartoni marroni nei negozi finlandesi sono latte al cioccolato


    Stavo facendo shopping in Finlandia e ho visto questo adorabile cartone marrone con una grafica carina che urlava CIOCCOLATO AL LATTE

    La mia mossa abituale era usare Capwords (un’app) per riconoscere e tradurre, ma il finlandese non era ancora disponibile. E avevo fretta e pensavo "ovviamente CIOCCOLATO AL LATTEandiamo."

    Pagato. Sono uscito. Ho preso un sorso enorme.

    ERA CREMA DA CUCINA AL PEPERONCINO PICCANTE.

    Non "oh sapore interessante" speziato. Salsa di bistecca completa. Il mio cervello si è letteralmente schiantato mentre cercavo di elaborare perché il cioccolato mi stava attaccando.

      I am not sure chocolate milk is even available in Finnish stores these days.

      just to avoid future mistakes use google lens to translate to your language, might not be 100% perfect but it will give you some what idea what the product is.

      A Belgian friend of mine was heading on a hike here in Finland, so he grabbed a plastic bottle of cucumber water. After several km he cracked up his bottle of pickling vinegar and didn’t exactly quench his thirst…

      You just happened to have scissors or something on hand to open it? There are like 2 chocolate milks in store and none are size of one gulp

      Is every brown packaging in your home country guaranteed to be chocolate milk?

      yea i always read the product names, brands and prices very carefully when im shopping so mistakes like this dont happen. but hey we all make mistakes sometimes 😀

      edit: of course if you are in a hurry this is an understandable mistake and especially if you dont speak finnish well yet.

      KERMA there is pretty close to cream.

      But since it is part of one word, no wonder it is easy to miss.

      Next time you might want to check that there reads maitokaakaojuoma (milk chocolate drink) or something along the lines. Valio’s Play maitokaakaojuoma is regular choccy milk and there’s also minty variation available, which can be found in most of the smaller markets too. I think that’s pretty much the most common choccy milk in Finland these days.
