Usually they overuse the word ‘Orwellian’ but its almost right in this case. No mention of him actually doing anything wrong other than rubbing up senior management the wrong way.

Aye, looks like some one senior some where applied a little pressure towards the police so adjacent powers could be used as retribution,
Same things happening to me because i supposedly made ‘derogatory allegations’ towards a GP Partner / Clinical Director in the NHS, these allegations supported by factual & documented paperwork, I was pulled out my home address & detained for 10hrs accused of harassment with out causing fear & violence.
Nothing more Kafkaesque being central where imbalances of power exist.
