Great for business I suppose?
I’d say his stint in government is going to hurt himself and Danny at the next election. He usually gets enough votes to carry Danny over the line with him but Danny might be in trouble next time around (presuming Danny won’t be replaced by a different Healy-Rae).
The fact that these guys get voted in every time, with massive support, pretty much confirms those Kerryman jokes as truth and not stereotypes.
Is that not a conflict of interest? Like giving your future employers 10m euro months before you leave your current job…

So they mention the Ukraine accommodation scheme in the headline but then go on to state down the article that no payments were received from the scheme in 2025 by his company.
