Like most stuff in Malta, it’s imported by a company and then distributed.
You’d be amazed how incompetent these middlemen companies are and how they control the products we can all buy.
All it takes is for the person who looks after this medication/brand to have taken a couple weeks off in December, meaning they didn’t place an order for more of this soon enough, and now it’s run out all over the island.
This happens far too often with far too many medicines. The last time my son was sick he was prescribed something and every pharmacy I went to said it had been out of stock for months. Ended up flying to Sicily to pick it up instead as it was urgent.
The middlemen/distributors need to be hung out to dry far more often. It’s infuriating.
