Community tensions don’t stay abstract once they start turning into personal safety concerns.

    Brilliant.

Maybe we should just start outlawing religion? Like, every fucking religion.

Sure they might find some other reason to start clubbing each other to death but I’m so sick and tired of religious bullshit infecting this country.

“My book says you suck so I need to kill you”

“Well *my* book says *you* suck so you need to die”

Love all these global blood feuds battling out in the streets of Britain

Quite amusing how the title says “Hindu nationalist” but calls the person an “activist” instead of a separatist. Clearly people have no idea about the violent activities the separatist movement has been involved in.

Edit1 – forgot to add the Khalistan movement leader also made threats of bombing Indian passenger aircrafts about two years ago. Most countries would call them “terrorists” instead of “activists”.

Edit2 – (from the linked article) In 1985, Khalistani militants smuggled a bomb on to Air India flight 182, which exploded off the coast of Ireland, killing all 329 people onboard – the worst act of aviation terrorism before the 9/11 attacks.

I don’t think some Bobby suggesting someone gets a CCTV camera is news worthy.

The fact that the advice wasn’t more directive or specific suggests that actually the opposite of the headline is more likely, that yes there’s a risk but not necessarily substantially so.

If you asked a police officer what you should get to feel safe you will get the same response.

Police have the capability of installing safe rooms for specific risk situations, so this is well below that it seems.

This is the organisation this “activist” belongs to.
