    Its needed. We should help the most vulnerable in this world and give them the tools needed to have a successful life here. We do need to define what is considered vulnerable and also make sure we can integrate anyone that comes here into our communities.

    No doubt the “Ireland is full”, “we are being replaced crowd” will be over from telegram shortly with their scaremongering but if done correctly and people are treated with respect we can have a thriving country and will be all the better with people from a mix of cultures and experiences, not the division that so called dog kicking Citizen Journalists bring.

    This is one of the few pieces of legislation that I don’t see any possible reason for a rational person having an objection to. O’Callaghan to be fair to him has done a fierce job in being realistic and also being honest with the current situation. I have no doubt some folks will bare their arse saying it’s bad but I hope this gets implemented ASAP. The sooner reforms are implemented, the better.

  3. Jim is eying the FF leadership an he’s trying to come across tough on migration. The country is signed up to the EU migration pact so until that changes control over our borders stays with the EU
