I paesi hanno trascorso 10 anni lavorando a un grande accordo delle Nazioni Unite per ripulire il settore marittimo globale, uno dei peggiori inquinatori al mondo.

Poi, a ottobre, solo due paesi europei, Cipro e Grecia, si sono staccati dalla posizione comune dell’UE per opporsi all’accordo, mandando in frantumi il consenso e schierandosi invece con i Sauditi e Trump.

Qual è la tua opinione a riguardo?

E perché Cipro ha preso questa posizione?

  1. Search which country is leading in fleet size dwt. And your question will be answered. Germany destroyed their nuclear power plants in favour of coal plants. Then they set a deadline for car manufacturers to switch to electric vehicles.. Europeans have been shooting their foot one step at a time. If greece has a fleet that is working they should keep it. The article youve attached doesn’t say what will happen to existing working ships.

    Instead of giving Turkey political lessons, Cyprus should focus on environmental issues. People on the island have a lack of environmental awareness unless it directly affects them. How many Cypriots don’t drive for environmental reasons? Out of a million, it must be around 10-20 people on the entire island. 😅🤦🏻‍♂️
