    > US officials and lawmakers, including Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, warned of sanctions, visa revocations, and entry bans for UK figures should a ban proceed, likening it to Russian censorship tactics. Ofcom launched an investigation into X over Grok AI deepfakes, amid transatlantic tensions on free speech and online safety.

How much did Elon donate to Republicans again?

That’s absolutely fine. Let these degenerates publicly choose Musk and other CSAM enablers over the rule of law and common decency, and then ban their officials from travelling here.

…so american is wanting to ban folks for opposing a website that produces ai cp…are they really thay dumb

Fine, let’s lead the way for the rest of the continent. Just because we share a language, does not mean we are aligned. The whole of the American continent is populated with the descendants of people who couldn’t make it work on this side of the world, and that’s okay, but let’s drop this silly notion that they’re the people we’re more culturally attuned to.

  5. I think F35 parts should face US entry ban for this entry ban…

Headline including the word “could” gets people angry shocker.

I doubt its a bluff but make them play their cards, you can get far with threats and its easier than actually having to do things

  8. I genuinely (and stupidly) thought that pedophilia and CSAM would be a bridge too far for *anyone* to stand behind, like it would unify everyone since it’s unambiguously evil. I should have realised there’s no nadir too low.

It used to be that people would blackmail sex offenders, but not his the other way around.

Aaaaaand this is what happens when you’ve got a bunch of super wealthy people who can invest directly into politicians.

All of a sudden, you’ve got the government defending billionaires instead of trying to govern the country and make lives better for its citizens.

At what point does the US just become a full on Oligarchy?

I think this says a lot that politicians are more focused on claiming this ban is an attack on free speech, rather than the concerning matter of that Musk’s AI has been trained to make kiddy porn… I welcome a ban for X, toxic platform anyway.

cool can we also ban US officials from coming here too? We have enough royal nonce’s with prince Andrew don’t need any more!!

  13. The government’s response should be “OK, do it”… and then announce a new wave of regulations on all foreigner-owned social media platforms to bring the UK’s political and cultural conversation back under the control of the British people.

Foreigners in foreign countries do not have the right to a voice in the politics or culture of the UK, and they sure as shit don’t have the right to force the UK to accept AI bots that generate CSAM.

Protecting the people of the UK from hostile foreigners like Elon Musk and his pedophile platform is a much higher priority than ensuring that government ministers are able to visit Washington DC.

Inevitable that the strident comments from the front bench would push Trump’s buttons.

    >UK officials could face US entry ban over X policy

And the problem with that is?

Anyone going to the US at present needs their head examining.
