Horrific, glad they’ve been named, hearing about it on the radio two days ago seemed ludicrous that they were not to be named.
But also whoever wrote this article could have skipped half the “she saids”

Yeah, sometimes you miss cruel and unusual punishment . This is one of those times.

Poor little fella, abuse on a level most people could never comprehend by the people looking after him. I hope they never have a minutes peace.

Honestly wish we had the death penaltyÂ

Four year old Mason O’Connell Conway didn’t die by chance he was destroyed by Tegan McGhee, and abandoned by a father who utterly failed to protect his own child. This wasn’t an accident or a moment of madness; it was sustained cruelty, neglect and silence from the very adults Mason depended on. Calling this anything less than evil does Mason a disservice. He deserved love and safety instead, his life was extinguished by the people who should have guarded it most.

I feel like there are a lot of stories involving the abuse of step children

It’s only right we start naming these people in Ireland, so many cases don’t have names or faces

That gave me chills they asked to be alone with the child before life support was turned off. Making sure he spent in last moments surrounded by evil

Props to the jurors who had to sit on that trial. Horrendous

This poor child. I’m glad she got life but the father’s sentence was too lenient. Both cunts of the highest order.
I feel so bad for the mother as well. What a horrible situation.

Prison is a luxury for a sub human piece of dirt like this yoke. She deserves to be miserable for every remaining moment of her life

I would 100% support the death penalty for this kind of crime and for sexual abuse of a child too.

I rarely, and I mean rarely give comments on topics like this on Reddit or SM in general, because honestly my opinion and thoughts matter fuck all in the scale of what’s actually happened. But I saw a documentary a few weeks ago about the Dóchas Centre above in the ‘Joy and honestly, I was glad to see that there was quite a lot of thought and effort gone into rehabilitating and looking after women who to be fair were in there to serve a debt to society for a crime they (in almost all cases) freely admitted to committing. They are safe, and warm and dry and fed and educated and they seem to be looked after by people who aren’t in it for the money – that’s the impression I got and I could be wrong, I don’t assume everything I see on the TV is the whole unvarnished truth.
I’m going to assume that this woman is either going to Dóchas or the female wing of Limerick prison which probably has the same facilities.
I don’t care that her liberty is taken away from her. I don’t care that she seemed to not have the greatest start in life. I don’t care that someone who had to be logged as No Fixed Abode in the court mightn’t have had the best rearing herself. All she had to do was *not* hurt the child. All she had to do was *not* hurt him so badly he died. She could’ve sat there and been the most apathetic, neglectful, nastiest bitch in the world but at least she wouldn’t have killed him.
I don’t know that I want to her to feel safe, warm and dry and fed and educated and looked after to be frank, and I don’t believe it’s a thought I should feel guilty for having.

It’s not often you read an article on here that sticks with ya.
This one feels like one of those that will.
> The trial was told the injuries were like those caused by a car crash or in a fall from a height and none of the bruising looked normal or accidental.
>A paediatric consultant gave evidence that an operating theatre full of medics “gasped” when they saw the extent of the injuries on the child’s face and body.
That poor, poor child, and at the hands of his own mother, and the negligence of his father. The protectors, the cares, the people who brought him into this world, beat him death.
Fucking Jesus Christ, I hope they get the news in whatever prison they both end up going to, because the hope of them just rotting the years away feels too kind.

I honestly think both of these cunts should be sent to gulags in deep Siberia! Having said that I don’t think that’s enough…
