Maternity care is abysmal. We’ve literally been having babies for thousands of years. How hard is it to provide a service to women so that they can have a safe birth and adequate care after? Something needs to change.

As someone whose daughter did die in the third trimester, it’s very clear we have problems in our maternity care. If there is essentially anything that goes wrong in pregnancy you cannot rely on your hospital to make the right decision. You can’t trust that they will find out what’s happening, it’s really scary and sad how bad things have gotten.
