I am so relieved for her family and friends with this verdict, may they find solace and peace.
I lived nearby when this happened, there were so many flowers and candles by her apartment entrance, it stuck hard to a lot of women at the time. It still will!
Knowing the following Irish stats alone it’s terrifying: over 270 women have died violently since 1996, with over 80% killed by known men, often current/former partners.
I just wish for every woman the hope and right to be safe on both her home and in society 💔
