Viaggio dalla Germania al Lussemburgo con la RE 11, ma l’app DB dice che la tratta non è coperta dal Deutschlandticket. Per quanto ho capito, il trasporto pubblico in Lussemburgo è gratuito e i treni RE sono inclusi nel D-Ticket.
Sono confuso se il RE 11 specifico per il Lussemburgo non sia incluso e devo acquistare un biglietto extra, o se effettivamente posso viaggiare solo con il D-Ticket. Qualcuno ha fatto questo percorso di recente?

Yes. The part in Luxembourg is free anyways, the part in Germany is covered by the Deutschlandticket.
Lots of commuters take it every day, all with their Deutschlandstickets.
First Class is not free, obviously, so sit somewhere else.
The part in Luxemburg is technically not covered by the Deutschland Ticket, so DB is right.
But since it’s free of charge, you still don’t have to pay anything for the trip if you have a Deutschland Ticket
