I personally find it crazy how an angry mob desperately searches for a villain for a disaster and want to lynch him without any trial. I get it, emotions are high, but what the fuck it’s not like he wanted his bar to burn down
Man this whole thing feels like a mess top to bottom. Like yeah if you’re Italy and a suspect in a deadly fire just walks free, I get being pissed. But recalling the ambassador feels kinda dramatic? Idk maybe there’s more legal stuff behind the scenes but from the outside it looks like everyone just escalating instead of actually fixing anything.

Anybody who had to use the service of the Italian embassy in Switzerland knows that they do jack shit anyways. So yeah, go home and stay there. We wont notice.
How about Italy directs its rage towards the US instead of Switzerland for following process?
If they see no risk of him fleeing, release on bail is standard procedure.

To be fair, all the investigation is a dumpster fire of corruption and malpractice from the beginning, so people being very pissed is understandable.
This being said, the current Italian government is a group of fascists under a very thin veil, so of course they try very hard to suck Trump dick while not pissing off Europe too much.
As usual the average Italian cannot see farther than a spit distance in front of themselves so this is a nice and easy manoeuvre to keep the plebeians who vote for them happy and engaged.
It’s truly outrageous that the Swiss are letting this rich murderer out of jail. But it was to be expected that the Swiss only care about the money. That’s why they still haven’t confiscated Putin’s lavish villa in Lugano.
The guy is a blatant mafioso and I’m really sick of.how these places and people that launder money hide in plain sight. Like the dude in Ozark knows his operation is overt as fuck to the FBI because he launders an unrealistic amount of money but he does it in an underrated tourist area. But here in Europe these guys can do it in hyper touristy areas and drive maseratis or pay appartments in cash. Reality stranger than fiction.
