Welcome to Germany. 1500kw for 1 person is pretty normal. Energy price is just really high in Germany.
It ducks but the reality is Costs are rising everywhere, to be honest I would be pretty ok if my extra payment is 160 EUR. At least it isn’t another 500r or something.
Definitely worth checking, in case something went wrong but that works out as 62 EUR a month for electricity. That’s pretty cheap.
Not really expensive.
I assume something around 12-15€ per month base plus maybe 35-40cent for each kwh
Total normal consumption for one person.
let me guess, stadtwerke?
Sounds reasonable. Your energy provider is even on the cheap side. I pay a little bit more for almost the same usage, and I switch energy providers often.
In your case I would adjust the pre payment to match your actual power usage. That way you won’t get a surprise payment next year.
Consumption is normal, price seems high. Try check24 or Verivox for a better contract
Change your supplier. I use also around 1500 kwh/year and i pay 45€ per Month.
You bill is legit but expensive.
You consumed 1500kWh. Not low, not terribly high for one person.
754€ is a high price for 1500kWh. However, you can’t change that retroactively, it’s only possible to get a new supplier going forward. Check comparison portals like Verivox or Check24 to get a market overview for your location.
Electricity is just this expensive here.
Its financing the nationwide grid expansion with it on top of the normal electricity price and taxes.
The grid upgrade is necessary for the switch to renewables as well as european interconnectivity.
Normal consumption. But I assume you are with the Grundversorger. Change that and you will save a lot of money.
You consumption checks out, but you’re prob paying a little less than 40 cents/kwh, which depending where ever you could be a lot, you should think about changing your electricity supplier.
Is 1500kwh a lot? I use way more than that.
