The motorcycle is doing a left turn.

    Right before left.

    The Tractor goes right.

    Then you go straight.

    Then the motorcycle goes left.

  2. Electronic_Garlic_20 on

Because motorbile turns left hence it has last priority. Trackter since Rechts vor Links, then you sine you drive straight and then bike since it turns left.

Ooo these are notorious ones. Tractor is to your right, so “I allow tractor to turn first”. Mobike is to tractor’s right, so “Tractor allows Mobike to go first”, but not you 😅.. They have a couple of these tricky ones, you have to read every word carefully (literally)…

Edit: OP, my point was – you have to focus on what your action would be and not what the tractor’s would be. That is what the question is asking 😅

The motorbike is turning, and thus has to let you pass as you are going straight

  5. xXenaneXx on

the motorbike wants to turn left. left turners have to give way (in this case for you. you and motorcycle = same road. it’s not an intersection)

  6. Lysa_Bell on

Right before left. Tractor > you > motorbike.
The motorbike is crossing on your side. You have right of way because you are going straight. Except you have to let the tractor pass because its coming up on the right. There aren’t any signs to indicate otherwise.

Bike and and tractor could turn at the same time, but you are only obligated to let the tractor turn

  8. elmar_accaronie on

The motorcycle turns left while you are driving straight ahead.
Vehicles turning left must always (EDIT: unless regulated otherwise) give way to oncoming vehicles that are going straight ahead or turning right. Accordingly, the turning motorcycle must give you right of way.

  9. I think the question is just poorly asked: The answer is the “I allow the tractor to turn” because that is YOUR action. The tractor is the one to give the bike priority.

So yeah, you’re right, you “give” both of them priority, but in this situation your only concern is the tractor and the tractors concern is the bike

Hope that makes sense. Just a weirdly asked question

  10. What skews it are these weird curves. It makes it seem like the motorcycle and the tractor on the same curved road and you’re entering it.

As far as i can see it, you and the motorcycle are on the same road. If you wouldnt be there, the motorcycle and the tractor wouldnt even have to wait for each other because their lanes do not intersect.

You have to wait for the tractor because “rechts vor links”.
The motorcycle has to wait for you because you are moving straight and the motorcycle wants to cross your lane.

when there are no priority signs the “Right-before-Left“ rule applies, but oncoming traffic rules also matter.
Tractor vs. You: The tractor is to your right so you must yield to it.

You vs. Motorcycle: You are going straight and the motorcycle is turning left across your path. Oncoming traffic turning left must yield to traffic going straight. Therefore, you go before the motorcycle.

    The Order

    Tractor Right-before-left over you
    You Going straight
Motorcycle Turning left across your lane

The bike is not to your right. You and the bike from the front, no one is in front of the other. Because they turn left, they have you give way to you.

The tractor turns right, so it doesn’t matter what the bike does. They dont interfere with them.

  14. _DarthSyphilis_ on

Basically the main rule of Vorfahrt is that you never cross traffic.

The motorcycle would cross you, so you go first.
The tractor comes from the right, so he goes before that.

The tractor and Bike wouldnt meet and could go at the same time, so their order is irrelevant.

  15. TallClerk8234 on

The tractor turns right and hence you allow them to turn, also it automatically turns before you as you are not at the turn.

The motorcycle is turning left so has the lower priority

  16. Trick_Ad7122 on

I would allow the motorcircle to Take the Turn before me.

I mean I will end up behind the tractor anyways.

I don’t care about my right. I concede it given the situation and my awarness.

    Wtf is this question.

  17. Longjumping_Ad_1180 on

You all got it wrong. Non of the answers are correct.
The correct answer is you change your mind and decide to turn right because you notice the “ice cream” sign on the right side of the pavement.

  18. MangelaErkel on

    The solution is very simple.

When u turn left u have the people that go straight pass or you will crash into each other.

Right before left so tractor first, then you then motorcyvle.

    1. There are no other markings or traffic lights
    2. Such, we apply the right prio rule
2.1 tractor goes straight, has nothing coming from its right, goes without concern
2.2 you have a tractor coming from your right, you give way to the tractor
2.3 the motorcycle wants to go forward, has you on its right, must give you way

    Tractor>you>motorcycle

  20. PeterNV80 on

Rechts vor links. Means right goes first. In this case the tractor come from your right side and goes first. Then you are next because the motorcycle is turns left and needs to cross your line -> cause if someone turns left, he needs to wait for the until the road is free.
Ah. The reason, why the motorcycle is not before the tractor is simply the fact, that the tractor does not have to let the motorcycle go first as they are independent from each other. Means even if the tractor just turns right the motorcycle is not affected by this action at all.

A bit of an offtopic, but what App is this? Seems rather useful for me refreshing up on my driving theory…

  22. nicktehbubble on

You know right before left, that’s easy, beyond that a simple rule of thumb is traffic not turning has right of way.

If you were the one turning left in the motorbikes position you would hold and wait for a gap in traffic.

Its a test about what SHOULD be done, not what WOULD you do.

  23. Iirc, the motorbike and the tractor do not cross, so they dont owe right of way to the other. The right of way rule only applies for vehicules crossing each other.
