      Im assuming this means mass investment into industrial automation, our workforce is shrinking and our wages are too high compared to east asia. Workers in eastern Europe are even approaching japanese wages.

      Do why China did! Force companies to use EU manufacturers under a technology transfer agreement.

      Do it for Chinese EV and batteries so we can at least jump start our infrastructure from there. Do the same for all data centers and IT infrastructure.

      It is obvious and beneficial to us, people employed in the EU.

      There is no need to push for that.

      Simply allow reverse engineering on patents, copyrights, trade secrets and services, for any any company that is not owned by EU citizens for 60%.

      Because everytime we build a company/product it gets purchased by an American firm, stripped of its IP/value, merged or headquartered in America.
