On Sunday evening, Marius Borg Høiby was arrested and charged with assault, threats with a knife and violation of a restraining order.
The police believe the offenses occurred over the weekend and were granted permission by the Oslo District Court to keep him in custody for four weeks – until March 2.
According to VG’s information, Høiby was presented to a doctor at a hospital in Eastern Norway and examined there.
In this regard, the 29-year-old was visited by the Crown Prince family, including his own mother, Crown Princess Mette-Marit.
