Japan has a significant number of insufferable maga ass glazers?

Recently I saw a reddit comment saying “Poland is the Japan of Europe”. And like with Japan, it only looks perfect if you don’t actually live there. Reality is often far more depressing anywhere really.

Too late. Krakow is the new Tokyo (but with old buildings), Warsaw, a new Osaka, Żabka is a Familymart, milk bars are the ramen spots🥀

Well.. less rapes, less chance to get mugged, killed, pickpocket etc.
Not paradise ofc but it’s very safe compared to germany xD

Western Conservatives think that Poland is a Christian version of Saudi Arabia, with a governmet that is a theocracy. Meanwhile in almost every neighborhood there is atleast one local homeless alcoholic.

Dont worry, let them leave the city center of Warsaw or Krakow and go into the suburbs once – dream over…

I wish it could be as beautiful as they imagine it, sadly it looks good only for the show and beside this it’s fucking depressing in any aspect because no matter who is in power the people live in deep shit.

I think it’s polish people circle jerking about Poland. Denying any negative stuff.

I live in the US but my mom is an immigrant from Poland, so Polish culture was obviously a big part of our family growing up and it has a place in my identify. I fucking HATE HATE HATE that it’s become politicized now. If I talk about my family history or what we do on Christmas, I’m now making a political statement and choosing a side by just stating where my family is from.
i can’t take it anymore.
duing covid I either wore a mask or I didn’t, I’d be making a political statement either way by going out in public, even though I don’t want to.
I have to call the gulf on the west coast of Florida either the Gulf of Mexico or the Gulf of America. I’m making a political statement either way even though I don’t want to.
And now if I talk about the country my mom grew up in, I’m making a political statement, even though I don’t want to.

It’s all just talk. When I moved to Poland I expected that all expats who live there would be like the weirdos you see rambling about poland online. But it’s not true all, keyboard warriors type from their home countries, while young and open minded people move to poland
