per contesto, è una scuola enorme in una piccola città. Sono un rifugiato ucraino e mi piace la band e l’artwork (specialmente nella realtà di oggi)

    Probably
I got in trouble for wearing a shirt that was less graphic.
that was over 10 years ago though

I see, so subversive… I’m sure this will make all these fascist Fünftklässler think about their political views and get them into political activism.

What age are the youngest in your school? Would you be ok a a 10 year old sees this?

    Yes.

Very much so. And I want to add: Obviously.

Not for the political angle, that is.

This is not so much an anti-Trump shirt as it is a “look, I have graphic suicide of Trump on my chest” edginess shirt.

But an overly violent image is most definately not covered by “angemessene Kleidung” that your school rules will contain in one way or another. Like, this is a case as crystal clear as fresh mountin spring water. Do **you** think it is appropriate to wear so overtly graphic violent depictions around ten-year-olds, never mind in a school?

Also, the graphic depiction of suicide in specific makes this even worse. No matter who the person suiciding is, really. It is the garphic depiction of suicide for no reason than edgyness. A prime example where the public mandate of education – Erziehungsauftrag – of the school must chime in.

I can not see how this level of graphic violence – never mind a suicide – could just be shrugged off or willfully ignored.

    Edit:

Worth noting that “problems” for somebody who flies under the radar of the teachers and / or is only standing out positively all other days does not mean being sent home for a week, parents asked to come to school, Schulverweis, whatever.

In the best case you will be asked to take of the Shirt and wear whatever else you have, if the weather allows. Worst case would be to be sent home to dress differently.

Depends on your teachers, i dont think politically its much of an issue but your school might have an issue with the fact that its pretty graphic. doesnt matter who it shows

Most likely not. Depends on the teachers. Most of them will just sigh internally and move on.

What school are we talking about?

    Gymnasium/Realschule/Hauptschule/Berufsschule … Grundschule?

My answer would differ depending the school system. Also the principal really deiced what is allowed and whats not soo if he is conservative mastlike not.

What kind of school? Are you staff or student/pupil? How old are you?

But that you flagged it as “NSFW” should tell you a lot. “Too saucy for Reddit, but probably fine for school”.

Yes, of course it would. It’s irrelevant that it’s got trump on it, the fact is that it graphically depicts someone committing self-harm.

Although a sick AF shirt, wouldn’t go to school with it.

I was a teacher, very briefly, in an American school. We had a kid show up with an NRA shirt and they had them change the shirt.

Not because of politics, but it had the silhouette of a hunter holding a gun and they had a policy prohibiting displays of weapons on clothing. That included a popular clothing brand with the silhouette of a hand grenade, So there was precedence of enforcement.

Any ways, that kiss was from a right wing family who got posed so they contacted right wing media.

Needless to say the new principal got death threats and the school district had to apologize and claim they were in the wrong for

    **checks notes **

    Enforcing their rules.
