But he’s lost his leverage to use tariffs as a club to beat out countries with completely. A 10% tariff on everyone is something the EU can just accept, especially if it’s not a disadvantage that other countries aren’t getting because they successfully bowed to his whims. Throw the EU/US trade deal in the trash and finish the Australian deal then talk to the TPP with Carney as the go between.
