Quindi ho preso alcune carte vincenti per mio figlio, ma hanno Top Ass come marchio. È un errore di battitura?

No it is not. In German an Ass is the highest card, or Ace in English.
Don’t just translate every word you see

    No.

This is German. An “Ass” is an “ace”, the highest valued playing card (think “ace of spades”).

It’s also used to refer to someone really good at what they’re doing (think “Magnus Carlsen”).

    This just in:

Different words/syllables mean different things in different languages.

It’s the equivalent to „Dickmilch“ which has no correlation with some private parts whatsoever.
In other languages there may be „false friends“, that are misleading or offensive in your mothertongue, but actually aren’t

  5. “Top Ass” means “Top Ace”. This is a brand of playing cards btw. I was gifted one but featuring rescue, ambulance, and THW vehicles.

Both “ace” and “Ass” come from French “as”

So once again it a failure of the English language to pronounce “A” like most languages 🙁
