If you don’t have coverage anyway it’s probably easiest to just leave it as it is and vigorously curse the unknown bastard who did it.

How much i fucking hate this… I have been there and also met people that had the same problem. It seems like deep scratch and in this case it has to be painted again, if you find someone who can do a smart repair(kinda hard on that position) that would be good!
Ask some body paint shops in your area, let them give you an estimation! I would not pay over 700Euro for that repair.
If ONLY the clear coat is scratched it can be repaired by sanding and polishing!
