I wish the article explained how this happened at all. Is it because Ghana is in the commonwealth? Did he have the right to reside in 1977, or something else? A valid visa to enter and never left again? Anyway congratulations to him! Hope to get mine soon as well

Looks like he was told he isnt a citizen in 2019 but he ran a fund raising campaign that caught fire and forced ehe home office to change their mind. I can already see my uncle posting on Facebook about how Labour bent the law and let an immigrant skirt the rules. Good luck appealing to these people Labour.
