It’s got one hell of a journey from Portsmouth to Cyprus.
It should arrive by next weekend if it sets off now…

Presumably the helicopters will be Wildcats armed with Martlets and potentially Crowsnest Merlins? Although I suppose the latter is unlikely when you have Akrotiri’s radar and a Type 45 in the area.
Regardless of your opinion on him generally, Starmer is handling this perfectly in my opinion. A Type 45 is a huge boost to the region and provides a next level of protection should things inevitably get worse. It’s a shame Wedgetail isn’t ready yet, as this would be the perfect situation for the crews to cut their teeth on

About time. Literally the only answer we have to ballistic missiles. Probably should be sending 2 since they are in port anyway.
