    While yes we need new houses, I do sympathise with the residents. It’ll completely change the area and make it more dangerous for children.

    There must be a better way than to turn a quiet cul de sac into an access road for 611 houses. The alternative would probably involve less profit for the developer though so obviously it wont be considered.

    At some stage large scale residential developments need to follow the same path as renewable energy projects under the renewable energy directive (latest amendment) and make these projects a matter of public interest which override this bullshit

    This appears to be close to infrastructure (Luas red line) and amenities (Citywest shopping centre). They can fuck right off.
