Trump administration is rarely “speaking” to the ones they speak about on press briefings. Which makes sense as it is rarely the ones they speak about that is the intended listeners.
PS. Nothing to do with this story, but I just think it is a funny sidestory to the Trump reality show. Norwegian politician Lars Haltbrekken has nominated Greenlandic politician Aaja Chemnitz and USA senator Lisa Murkowski for the Nobel peace price. Why? For their contribution in reducing tension between USA and Denmark/Greenland when Trump sought to take the island by force or through other means.

Wish the rest of Europe followed Spain on this matter. It’s sickening how easily most of our leaders bow down to Trump again. Especially Merz.
