The sad and unfortunate reality for legitimate masseuses is that a significant proportion of these businesses are fronts for paid sexual services.

Like a lot of businesses that are clearly criminal fronts, I can’t understand how they can seemingly continue to operate unimpeded.

Hopefully humanoid robots will bring all this kind of stupidity to an end.

Good woman to actually take a step here and stand up for herself and her business. I hope the publicity gets a lot of genuine customers flocking to her door.

There’s a local Thai massage place my other half goes to, and she tells me there’s signs all around the reception noting – explicitly – that they do not offer these services. The fact they have to is sad.

The reality is also that anyone looking for sexual services can find pretty explicit ads online to guide them to the places that do offer it as their core service. So the punters here are being pricks about it when asking for the services of a legitimate business or (worse) dropping their towels in the room.

I’m starting a massage training course soon and am legitimately really nervous about being harassed like this when I start working. Unfortunately I fear this is a sad reality I’ll just have to accept. This poor woman.

It’s so fucking depressing that western men objectify Thai women this way.

Read masseuse as museum. Was a bit confused by what kind of pervert would do this.

What’s really peculiar in all of this is how easily it actually is to get a massage with ‘extra’ services.
This is like ringing KFC asking for a Big Mac.

I went for a Thai massage once and was asked if I wanted “extras”… was shocked as it was an approved provider with my health insurance so assumed it was adequate vetted by them. im female btw so im not typical client base for this kind of service

As a woman who used to work as a masseuse from home I am so proud of this woman. The sexual abuse I suffered was anxiety inducing. I had to pack it in because I just wasn’t strong enough to deal with the disgusting texts, comments during a massage etc.

I had male friends who would come to the house when I had a client to make sure nothing ever happened to me.

These sad fuckers wouldn’t dream of going to a spa for a massage & pulling this shit.

They should just decriminalise these services so that legit business’s avoid this harassment. Let these other services advertise their business and that will take the majority of these people away from harassing genuine businessses.
