  1. What peace talks? Orange moron was never a key player in peace talks, just a pawn of Putin. This is a win for Ukraine.

I would say that the peace talks face a *very certain future*. That is one of failure.
Because Putin doesn’t want peace. End.

Good. “Peace talks” were a load of bull anyways, and nothing more than a ploy to try and get Ukraine to capitulate to Russia.

The outcome will be much better without the orange idiot!

After more than a year of Hirocheeto 2.0, it’s not as big a loss as it seems.

After all, the US has basically been double-teaming with the Russians diplomatically while the Ukrainians are forced to face a fetid rehash of the farcial [Minsk Agreements](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minsk_agreements).

In another timeline if the US were the broker while led by a civilized president or just someone as well-intended as Віdеn or even Јіmmу Саrtеr, then the loss of these peace talks could be serious for the Ukrainians.

Anyone rational knows by now that the Russians do *not* want peace as the civilized world understands it. The latter is actually outrageous anathema to them opposite their foundational devotion to Russkiy Mir (“Russian World” / “Russian **Peace**”) which is just their unholy distortion of [Рах Моngоliса](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pax_Mongolica#Trade_network) without the genuine commercial and intercultural exchange along the Silk Road of the OG.

For good measure, the Russians have been giving out their answer loud and clear by systematically lobbing glide bombs, Shaheds, cruise missiles, and butterfly mines on the Ukrainians as well as running human safaris on Kherson with FPV drones. For the Russians, their гаре of Ukraine since February 20, 2014 represents merely their latest attempt to attain their Final Solution as [first laid down over 300 years ago](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russification_of_Ukraine#Peter_I_and_his_successors) by their “enlightened” despot, ~~Peter the Great~~ Peter I.

It’s a sucker’s game for anyone, to say nothing of the Ukrainians, to negotiate in good faith over *anything* with the Russians seeing how the latter are gleefully living up to their heritage as the direct descendants of the Gоldеn Ноrdе’ѕ staunchest collaborators and сuсkѕ.

We knew that was going to happen. Ukraine do not need the US president. They are strong 💪 enough and the amount of war tech they producing is amazing. They a very strong country now.

They were never peace talks, they were discussions about how much UKR was going to surrender to Ruzzia and how long Ruzzia was going to get to re-arm.

Seems like a good thing. It was less peace talks and more like coercion.

Never gonna have anything meaningful with someone who has supported Putin

  10. There never were any real peace talks. Russia doesn’t want peace.

  11. Russia’s peace talks were only a distraction to demoralize Ukraine, while playing on Trump’s greed and giving Putin whatever he wished for.

When does the “24 hours to end Ukraine’s war if I’m elected ‘” start tho ?

The less attention Trump pays to Ukraine, the better. He doesn’t contribute anything positive.

One would hope, at least for Ukraine’s sake, that he continues his quest for easy victories elsewhere.

  14. Come on Kyiv Independent, you should know perfectly well that there were never any actual peace talks.

  15. Suspicious-Answer295 on

America hasn’t supplied any new weapons or any aid for over a year, they’re irrelevant in peace talks at this point more of a spectator.

  16. It’s about time to just give abuse to anybody who still refers to these as “peace talks”. It’s infuriating.

Trump spent 40 years pretending he was negotiating a Trump Tower in Moscow as an excuse to visit his handlers. Obviously that building was never going to happen, Russia has no need to launder money in its own capital…

He’s now got “Ukraine peace talks” to send his money laundering duo Kushner & Witkoff for regular meetings with the head of Russia’s national wealth fund…

People accuse him of being the idiot while he routinely plays the world for fools, gets away with everything and continues to grow his wealth and power. Who are really the idiots?
