Were they talking to a class of five-year olds? (Or President Trump, even?)
Connolly is a career politician and was educated as a barrister, she knows full well this is unacceptable. Maybe we should have considered this before voting in someone who is vocally anti-western. I’m not saying our choices were better but if we’re not going to take the Presidency seriously and put forward good candidates, then maybe we should reconsider its existence.
