Dovrebbe essere una misura per la criminalità organizzata… Se usano semplicemente whatapp che mi fornisce la crittografia end-to-end non possono monitorare nulla!
Quindi quelli che non sono idioti e hanno qualcosa da nascondere userebbero whatapp… gli altri saranno monitorati per qualsiasi cosa!:|
Perché tentano addirittura di approvare leggi del tutto inefficaci?

Privacy is no longer a thing it seems. With the way chat control in EU is going and this which is apparently almost a done deal (first I’ve heard of it but 38 votes is basically done), in addition to META/Musk etc all monitoring your online presence, there is basically no way for anyone to escape constant monitoring. The way this is phrased is that you will be monitored 24/7 but they will be allowed to “monitor” you only if they have a valid, written reason. Total bullshit, anyone can tap into anyone’s phone if we are consistently monitored.
And don’t get me started with the laughable penalties for those that get “caught” while doing it unprompted. There is no way a single sane person believes that anyone will get punished or that it will only happen in valid cases. Who here is willing to bet that targeted advertising will now become EVEN MORE obvious raise your hand.

Whatsapp and other 3rd party software are already monitoring your every text/call so it is not a solution at all. Only telegram is semi-encrypted and iirc they have cooperated with police in some cases so even them aren’t ensuring full privacy.
They’re already in kahoots with the criminal underworld in Cyprus, there’s no real reason to pass this law except to slowly progress into a dystopic surveillance state.
If they have 0day exploit that gives them access to the OS of the phone, then they can monitor even Signal. Do not assume that they can not see your messages if an app uses encryption. Someone needs to take more measures to make monitoring almost to impossible.
