There seems to be quite a trend lately of the court “taking into account the accused’s age” to let boomer+ generation offenders off with no custodial sentences or dropping cases all together. Examples are a recent case of peadophelia and a case of threating a neighbor with a shotgun.
So not sure if the message here is that once you receive your karta anzjan in addition to free transport, additional social benefits, no tax on income up to €37k the older generation are now free to murder, rape and threaten with no consequences.
