An absolutely outrageous talent.
The cliché in sports is that nobody is bigger than the game. Alas snooker is a dying sport in this country and to many people, Ronnie **is** snooker. The game will be diminished when he puts his cue back in the case for the last time.

153 is probably untouchable in a professional game outside of the stupid golden black ball rule.
I bet he’s still a bit gutted he didn’t get the 155 true maximum.
It was just the second last red shot that made the black go safe. So he had to use 2 pinks before clearing the colours and potting the tricky last black . What a break !

I don’t tend to pay much attention to snooker but have the rules changed recently? I thought the highest break was 147? 🤷♂️
