So, y’know the way the Czech Republic just sort of started going by Czechia? Why don’t more countries do that? Like why don’t we call Spain España? Anyone interested in us going by Eire?

I honestly think we have a chance. If we can keep it even until the last 20 mins I’ll always bet on us to pop up with a winner. Having so many going over will be unreal.

I think we’ll scrape past the Czechs, maybe on penalties.
Then we’ll have a few days of dreaming of a WC, people booking flights and accommodation, discussing our chances in the group.
Then the Danes will bring us crashing down to earth.
Or maybe the Czechs beat us easily. Our midfield is lacking and there’s is quite good so I think they’ll dominate possession.
Or maybe we beat the Czech and the Macedonians beat the Danes and then we really get excited.

I’m going to be in Poland on Thursday night and they have their qualification match at the same time. I assume every pub in Poland will be showing their game.
