If everything is targeted based people start rigging the targets

Lazy. The managers should be identified, and the instructions traced to the top. Then recoup their past bonuses, and limit future bonuses, as well as possible demotion/expulsion.
Promote a selection of whistle-blowers to reinforce correct behaviour.

The same post that can be court orders or doctors appointments? We should really start making it a criminal offence to be a corrupt politician.

> “We would take any suggestion that colleagues are hiding mail very seriously,” a spokesperson said.
By which they mean “we will address the understaffing and penalise the managers giving these orders”, right? Not “we will find the whistleblowers and punish them”, right?

We get post roughly once per week but sometimes significantly less than that.
I don’t believe its necessarily a problem with getting the post to the depot because if I go to the sorting office quite often I will be able to pick some up that’s waiting to be delivered.
I think the problem is that there are not enough posties to deliver to the house. Someone can only physically get round a certain number of houses in a shift no matter how fast they try to work and if there are significantly more houses than posties its going to be a problem.
However for some reason the other side of town is fine. They get post regularly but it just affects our side. This is definitely an organisation issue of some kind here and its been this way for the past few years.
I would love to know what they say the postal service is like in my part of town but if its anything other than unacceptable then they are lying.

The trouble with organisations that are target led is that by hitting their targets, they miss their objective in providing a reliable service for their customers.
