I wouldn’t be surprised at all if there is a sentencing hearing that brings up evidence he’s actually an adult.

Those poor women, both the one he sexually assaulted and the one he strangled. I hope they have good care and a strong support network around them.
It’s nowhere near close to being similar but I’ve been catcalled by a few kids this age and what strikes me even time is how I feel weirdly guilty about it, even though I did nothing except walk past them. Like I’m somehow the one at fault for “corrupting” them or something. I really hope neither of these women are having to deal with that feeling on top of the trauma of what they’ve been through.
