this is work that other countries have done 10, 20 years ago already. the irish government don’t want to legalize cannabis. simon harris has said he personally does not want legal cannabis. they will examine and consult and committee about this for years more, doing the classic irish government piecemeal slow-walk to avoid getting into a position where they might have to take real action.

The vast majority of people who enjoy pot are working, responsible adults, who simply enjoy the odd toke at home.
Stop treating us like children, legalise it and leave us be.
