    No. Not normal.

Usually people ask before they borrow.

It’s not cool to keep stuff that does not fit in apartment at parking spot btw. Don’t be surprised if it end up in trash one day

No, not normal at all. I’d say on the contrary, we are not chill about property at all.

It’s called stealing and is reported to the police.

that’s wild behavior anywhere, not just in Poland. the fact they brought it back quickly and apologized kinda saves it a bit, like okay at least they realized they messed up and didn’t double down on it, but still… you don’t just take people’s stuff without permission. most people here would never do that, so don’t take this as some cultural thing, it’s just one person being weird and making a dumb decision. I guess you just ran into someone who had a questionable moment and hopefully won’t try that again 😭

  6. This is a “what the fuck” moment when interacting with the neighbours. Not normal, not acceptable…

  7. Not normal. Buy a bicycle lock and keep it locked next time. Your neighbours are dickheads.

That’s not even pushing it — that’s just straight-up stealing. I’d be seriously pissed if it was my daughter’s stroller, and I suspect vast majority of people would have a huge problem with that kind of “borrowing”.

If it was your younger teenage brother who got his teenage girlfriend pregnant… maybe expected. Otherwise, not normal.

At least they left you a note 🙃 I’m joking, very cheeky!!

In that moment 30% of poles would smack the shit out of them for stealing

No and I would be enraged a lot and I would say many things what I think about this behaviour

One thing is ask for stroller, „hi neighbour can I borrow your stroller/anything till evening” and I would say „yes sure feel free”

But taking it without asking and permission is highly unacceptable

just call police and tell them someone stole it, throw somewhere this paper

I did that with a bike once, it was an emergency and I returned it an hour later before anyone noticed.

Same thing happened with my bike when I was a kid and my grandma’s rake. Returned like a few hours later.

I’d say, not normal, but it still happens. Depending on the location I guess.
