Remembering her co interview with Putin where she was shivering from a claimed fever, but it sure looked like fear and anger all rolled up in one. I remember thinkinh either the Russians had something on her, or threatened her somehow.
History is going to remember Angela Merkel as a disastrous leader. Her policy of open acceptance of refugees from the middle East, her energy policy of decommissioning nuclear power stations and becoming dependent on Russian gas, and her misreading or mishandling of Russia’s Putin all helped to create a weakened Europe. A Europe that is turning hard right today as a consequence.
